As competitors entered the online mapping market, we created a hyper-localized campaign for Google Maps to remain top of mind in the German market.
After a long, harsh winter, the Urban Escape Plan helped German urbanites in summer 2014 to escape the concrete jungle by discovering the green spaces within it with this. It worked with a very simple mechanism: A single click or touch located the user and gave him a route to a nearby hidden treasure, curated by influential bloggers, instagramers and photographers from all over Germany.
